FUEL STORAGE
Large industrial systems such as Ulcinj Salina could not function without a reliable source of energy.
This space was used for the reception, storage and distribution of fuel oil, which was essential for the operation of certain production facilities and technical systems.
Although at first glance a less visible part of the factory, the energy infrastructure was crucial to the daily operation of the Salina.
Next to the building was also a fuel station used to supply the vehicle fleet of the “Bajo Sekulić” Salina.
This building reminds us that salt production relied not only on nature, but on an entire network of people, machines and technical solutions that enabled the process to function. At the same time, it vividly illustrates the scale and complexity of this enterprise, which was often referred to as “the Giant.”

The project is implemented by the Dr Martin Schneider-Jacoby Association – MSJA,
with the support of the Tourism Organisation of Ulcinj Municipality.
